Manuels River is one of the oldest river systems in North America and is protected and preserved by the Manuels River Natural Heritage Society, whose mandate is the preservation and protection of the natural, cultural, and geological history of the area.

The Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre is open to visitors seven days a week. The exhibit space and gift shop are must-see places in the Town – while visiting, grab a coffee, snack, or lunch at Coffee Matters.

The Centre has a variety of rental venues to meet both business and individual needs, regularly hosting business meetings, birthday parties, luncheons, conferences, and wedding ceremonies and receptions. Full catering and bar services are available.
